Philosophy

Built for photographers
by photographers.

Galerist was born behind the lens. From someone who spent ceremonies standing in the sun at 40 °C, corporate events running until late at night, newborn sessions where the baby refuses to stay still, and corporate portraits where you have to convince a CFO that no, he isn't posing.

And then, once the real work is done, the same moment always comes — when you shut yourself in the studio in front of a computer to deliver the photos to the client. That's when I realized that every existing tool was built for the people making money on it, not for the people shooting.

A small act of honesty

The big photo delivery services you already know are serious products, made with care. But they all share one choice that has always bothered me: you have to subscribe to use them. €15 a month minimum. Even if you deliver one gallery a year, you pay all 12 months. Even if you're idle for a whole season, you pay. Even if you just want to try the product with one client, you pay.

I wanted a tool that was honest like a handshake instead: if you need it, you pay. If you don't, you don't. Period. No subscriptions that quietly renew when you no longer use them. No “unlimited” plans with hidden fair‑use caps in the ToS. No tricks.

Our vision

Galerist doesn't want to be the biggest SaaS in the world. It wants to be the tool a photographer picks because they feel respected. Because they pay only when they produce, like they pay for lens batteries or printer toner: by consumption, not by calendar.

We want every gallery you send to a client to be a small manifesto of your studio. Your logo, your colors, your domain. No “powered by” watermark. The client sees only you — it's your brand delivering the photos, not ours.

And we want to build it slowly, listening to those who actually use it. The photographer with 12 intense summer shoots and zero in winter. The videographer who films a couple of brand commercials per month. The portrait artist delivering mini‑sessions to families. The small studio handling corporate events and headshots.

None of this is optimized for Wall Street. It's optimized for that moment when you finish exporting the photos and you just want them to arrive with the client in a way that's beautiful, secure, professional.

Three promises

  • 01Pay when you need to. A single gallery at €9.99, or subscribe when you deliver continuously. If you buy a gallery today, you have no obligations tomorrow.
  • 02Your brand, never ours. Paid galleries have no Galerist watermark. Automated emails from your domain. The client sees only you.
  • 03Explicit caps, never “unlimited”. We always state how much storage and how many video minutes your plan includes. Honest pricing, because “unlimited” doesn't exist.

Honest about the limits

Galerist isn't for everyone. If you manage a studio with 20 photographers and need enterprise DAM with IPTC metadata, Galerist isn't for you — go for dedicated B2B solutions. If you upload terabytes of RAW per month, ditto: we're not optimized for that.

Galerist is for the photographer or videographer working solo or in a small team, delivering 5 to 100 galleries per year, who wants a tool that doesn't punish them when they're not using it.
